Hi Finizia,
As an employee, it would be convenient for me if I can see my pay stubs in just a few clicks. This is a great help to employers like you, too.
Are you having challenges when you email your employees' pay stubs? What happen when you try Jennifer's steps?
Please remember that you have us here, and we'll help you until we resolve your concern on pay stubs.
Hi Mansh,
The Mail log shows emails that have bounced, so if there are none showing this means that all payslips have sent successfully. To review these, you can do so in the Employee's card by:
If the payslip has a Not Published status, this option was not selected when finalising the payrun and has not yet been sent to the employee. I have also replied to your posted question here.

Neither of the suggestions in the solution offered by QB "expert" Jennifer are true or accurate.
1) Mail Log does not offer a "Date Range" and therefore cannot work as suggested! And I don't remember everyone's email address!! A very bad way of doing things
2) Hovering over the date only allows you to email but does not tell you if it has already been emailed earlier!! What are these so-called experts take us for? Mugs or Idiots?
Hi Hamid_Khan,
That's correct there is no date range when sorting by mail log - it displays all bounced/rejected emails regardless of date. You can always check your employee's email address by checking into their Employee Details and we would be happy to pass this request for a filter option as feedback. As mentioned above by my colleague, if the payslip has a Not Published status, this option was not selected when finalising the payrun and the payslips have not yet been sent to the employees. It would be best to check the employee's emails on file before trying again.

I'm confused...... It doesn't make any difference if the payslips are published or not but when I hover over the pay date, the "Email" button pops up but I can't see where there is confirmation that I have actually emailed it.
Plus How can I email all the payslips in each pay run at once?
I can only go to each employees card file and send them individually.
Very annoying.
Hi jayayray,
To answer both questions, you would be looking at using the Publish Pay Slips icon within the payrun. Sending pay slip notifications this way can be done with a single click once you’ve finalised your pay run which will reach all employees in batch. Based on the employee settings and their details they will get the emails sent out.
Whilst there is no status to check for confirmation as long as the employee details are correct, it will send those payslips through once you select Publish Pay Slips.
For a visual guide on how to do this you can click here for a step by step process.
Let me know if this helps,
-Steven
Hi Steven,
I do not have the employees set up for their own individual login to retrieve their payslips so when you are suggesting I click on "Send pay slip notification", as per Quick books instructions from the Support page show below in blue, it only sends the employee a notification that payroll has been processed and doesn't mention a payslip.
Sending payslip notifications
Sending payslip notifications is a really simple process. Once your pay run is finalised, you can select Publish Payslips button in the pay run actions bar andyour employees will be sent a notification letting them know that their pay has been processed.
Regards Julie
Just to confirm, when you select Send pay slip notification an email is sent to the employee which contains a blue link 'Download you pay slip now' which allows them to access it as a PDF. It is not required that employee's need portal access to see their payslips. If possible you could test a payslip notification email to yourself and check if this is the case?
If you are not seeing this link please let me know, or alternatively our staff is full available today and can assist by clicking here.
Thanks,
I just wish that QB instead of spending all this time telling us how wonderful the product is and for once would read and comprehend the customers' issues and do something about it, like give us an upgrade to show that the Payslip has been emailed. Quite simple and effective response to our problem. All these cosmetic changes such as changing the name of an option from "Employees" to "Payroll" is just a waste of time and resources. How about if it said "Employees & Payroll"? Wouldn't that be better?
Hi Hamid_Khan,
We rely on customers like yourself to bring these changes to our attention and value all feedback as a means to enhance the product to the needs of the QuickBooks Community.
I'd encourage you to share this feedback directly with us by clicking here to join the growing voices who wish to see changes on our software.
Thanks,

Mine also won’t send out payslips as a group. I have to go into each employees file and send them individually. I have tried and tried to sort this out….any suggestions
Not only that!! I tried "publish payslips" on Sunday which is supposed to send an email to everyone to say "hey, your payslip is ready ............" but I don't know how they can get it as my wife is on the payroll and she didn't get an email, 3 days later. So, I am none the wiser as ti how it works!! Does anybody know or care?
What the ..... is going on with QB? They keep collecting their charges but never seem to do anything useful for us!!
Hi Hamid_Khan,
A pay slip notification will be sent to an employee after you click on Publish Pay Slips and select Send notifications to employees then Send.
Also, you can try to check the on how the employee receives a pay slip notification which can be via SMS or email. Here's how:
You can use below steps to check if the pay slip is emailed successfully:
