Yes, there are South African banks that can be connected to QuickBooks Online, Arifkhanadvisory. Let me share some information.
You can find the list of bank accounts when you process the connection. Once it's linked, transactions are downloaded automatically.
Also, you can look up your bank to check if it's one of the supported financial institutions. If you can see it, you can connect it to our program.
Then, once it's connected, you can categorise and match the downloaded transactions.

Hello there, @Advanced_User.
Let me share an idea about connecting a bank account to QuickBooks Online for Zimbabwe and Botswana.
I appreciate you following the steps provided by one of my colleagues. Since you already tried pasting the URL and can't find results, it means the bank is not yet supported.
In the meantime, you can send a request.
Here's how:
Here's an article to help you find when you connect to online banking: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
For now, I'd recommend manually import your bank transaction.
For future reference, if you encounter errors in uploading bank transactions, check on this article to guide you: Fix bank upload errors in QuickBooks Online.
Feel free to leave a comment on this post if you need more assistance. I'm always here to help. Take care!

Thank you Kristine for your reply. I tried it and it works!
May I now ask the same question for Zimbabwe and Botswana. These banks do not appear even when I paste their URLs.
I have tried asking the banks but they do not reply. I'd have at least expected Nedbank, FNB and Stanbic to respond, as they are of South African origin.
Regards
