Fixing the connection is our top priority! But I have another way on how you can get transactions from your bank, JackT.

You'll want to sign in to your bank's website to get transactions from there. To do this, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your bank or credit card's website.
  2. Follow your bank's instructions for how to download CSV files of your transactions to your computer. Every financial institution has different steps.
  3. Check the date range for the download. It should be at least one day before the date of your oldest transaction.
  4. Download your transactions. Save the file somewhere you can easily find it, like your computer's desktop.

Once done, you'll need to review the file format to make sure that you can manually upload the transactions. Here's how:

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select Upload transactions.
  3. Select Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  4. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into. Then select Next.
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
  6. When you're ready, select Let's go.

Please check this out for more detailed steps and information: Manually Upload Transactions into QuickBooks Online. You'll want to match and categorise transactions after you've reviewed them.

That is NOT a viable solution. We bought your product so that the bank account automatically links. FIX IT NOW. We aren't able to do this for 10 x companies a day. Your competitors managed to make the fix. Why not you?

Hi again, @JackT.

I want you to know that I responded to your comment on another post with the same topic. If you haven't notified yet, here's what I wrote.

Since you're still getting the same issue after following the steps shared above, I highly recommend contacting our Suppor team. They're able to create a ticket regarding this issue and forward it to our Product Engineers for further investigation.

  1. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), click the Help (question mark) icon at the top right.
  2. In the QB Assistant enter the topic you need help with. You can also enter questions.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.
  4. Choose a way to connect with us.

An email notification will be sent to you once this has been resolved. I'll also inform you here when we get the update as well.

For tips and other resources, you may visit our website for reference: Self-help articles.

Please let me know how it goes or if you have any other concerns. I want to make sure everything is taken care of for you. I'll be here to assist. Have a good one!

Hi JackT

Any chance that this issue was fixed? I have been struggling this side as well and hoping there is light at the end of the tunnel. Looking at the forum, a lot of people have this problem...
