Good day

I have Quick books 2013 Simple start, i reinstalled to anew computer, i have my Licence number and product key but now it is asking for a validation code?

Looks like you're using QuickBooks Desktop since you're being asked for a validation code. QuickBooks Desktop is only available in the US, UK, and Canada region.

 

Since QuickBooks Desktop is no longer supported, I'd recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. They can provide the validation code and help you activate your company file. Here's how:

 

  1. From the Help menu, select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. In the Have a Question window, scroll down to click the Contact us link.

 

You can utilize these articles for additional information. These articles are applicable for the US version

 

 

There's no need to enter a validation code in QBO. QuickBooks Online will directly activated once subscription status is active. You'll want to check our help articles. It contains details about handling, transactions, reports, and subscription.

Hello there. I'll share some information on how you can activate your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

You manually activate your QBDT account using these steps:

 

  1. Open your QBDT company and select the Help menu.
  2. Next, click the Activate QuickBooks Desktop option.
  3. From there, follow the steps on the screen to verify your info.

However, since your QBDT version is no longer supported, you can reach out to our Phone Support team to further help you activate it. They can pull up your account in a secure place and provide a validation code that you can use. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Help menu and select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  2. Next, click Contact Us.
  3. From there, enter a brief description of your issue. Example: Activate QBDT 2016. 
  4. Next, select Continue.
  5. Sign in to your Intuit account and select Continue and then Continue with my account.
  6. You'll receive a single-use code. Enter it and select Continue.
  7. Select to Chat with us or Have us call you.

You can access your Customer Account Management Portal (CAMPs) to obtain your validation code. First, log in to your CAMPs using the login information linked to your product. Next, select your QuickBooks version from the Product and Services section. Then, click on Details and locate the validation code.
