Some of my clients have converted their data to Xero. Xero has released Invoici as a free connector for syncing with the MyInvois Portal. They contacted @Fiat Lux - ASIA to convert data from QBO to Xero. We can use this promo link to get special discounts from Xero.

You keep channeling us to find apps.. What apps are we supposed to look for? Do any of them support e-invoicing? if so, can you please advise the names of the apps so we dont have to search blindly?
The ability to generate and send invoices in QuickBooks Online is appreciated, and we thank you for your interest in exploring specific apps, Robert. I would be happy to discuss this valuable insight that can help you achieve efficient e-invoicing.
We understand your interest in finding a third-party app to help you manage e-invoicing. While we can't suggest specific apps, we encourage you to explore options by comparing the features and reading reviews from other users.
Additionally, in QuickBooks Online (QBO), we can use third-party apps that offer advanced importing capabilities. Here's how to explore those apps:
By considering these factors, you can identify an invoicing application that not only facilitates e-invoicing but also aligns well with your business goals.
You may also explore third-party applications through our QuickBooks App Store and navigate to the CATEGORIES section to select an app that best suits your needs.

suggest everyone to switch away from Quickbook’s, since they have no intention to help out Malaysia market to achieve compliance to LHDN.
All the middleware is too costly and some of it not friendly to be used, not suitable for small business like us.
i have quit Quickbooks, and join Bukku. In case anyone need any suggestion of which are the alternative software. Bukku is locally grown company and hence will always up to date in achieving Malaysian law compliance.
Hi @SuzanaCS, @4Gal, @Catherine98, @Deity Alpha, @YT26, @hanifmeow, @LSW Acct, @AIQ, @Kittlsk, @Chrea, @RobertSmith123
Thanks for your patience while the team worked through the various requirements to enable e-invoicing in Malaysia. I am excited to say that QuickBooks e-Invoicing is coming to Malaysia very soon. We are currently rapidly testing with a view to have the product available for customers from April.
We are aware of the timelines announced by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN) and we understand a significant majority of Malaysian businesses using QuickBooks will not need to undertake mandatory individual e-invoicing requirements until 1 July 2025 (ie customers whose businesses have between $500k and RM 25M turnover annually) and we are working to meet this deadline.
Following recent guidance from the Malaysian Government, small businesses with less than $500k turnover will not need to be ready until 1 January 2026.
As we work to implement relevant changes with our partner, Sovos, we will be offering training and support for our customers. If you'd like to be kept up to date, you can Register your interest on our e-invoicing page.
Is ok, I have left Quickbooks. Your “soon” has no exact date. I already made my company e-invoice ready and trained my staffs. It is too late for everything if it is only available in April. Have fun exploring Malaysia market once again!
When can use? Its like forever. Next week already april. For fu*k sake, this is the important app but still basic einvoice not yet implemented????
We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us, hanifmeow. It's clear to us that a streamlined invoicing system is crucial for your business. We want you to know that the Beta phase of the new E-Invoicing feature in Malaysia will launch from April 2025. I'll include additional information regarding this service below.
We are actively working to swiftly integrate the E-Invoicing feature in QuickBooks Online. This service streamlines the process of exchanging invoices digitally while ensuring full compliance with local regulations. Also, you can quickly send individual invoices directly to the LHDN with just a few clicks. Providing confidence and ease when managing transactions, it's specifically designed to meet LHDN guidelines.
For more information, you can review these materials:
Moreover, you can create statements to inform your customers of their outstanding balances. Once you receive invoice payments, record them in QuickBooks to keep your record accurate.
If any questions pop up or you need further assistance with the E-invoicing feature, please revisit our Community forum anytime through the Reply button below. We're always here and eager to help make your invoicing process more streamlined and efficient.
For the sake of future of your business in case there would be any updates again from LHDN and Quickbook’s not priorities on Malaysia market again, suggest you to move away from Quickbooks and join Malaysia home grown software, where they will more actively and promptly updates with such changes.
Hi. We are now in May 2025. I'm still waiting for ANY E-invoicing version to be launched. This is cutting it too close, dont you think? Furthermore, as you may understand, users need time to test the functionality and understand the depth of the application through Quickbooks - whether this function is fully integrated, whether it's partial. There is No information other than the few PR articles you sent out in March to say it's coming in April (further, you've asked users to purchase a digital certificate That is going to cost us anywhere between RM1,500 to double that per annum). There is no further help or information on this. We were just told to puchase one). Would be nice to be regularly updated, especially if the launch is delayed. Not everyone will fall into the category of under 500k here and therefore still have to comply by July 2025. Would appreciate some hard commitments on this, rather than a softly worded reply that gives us no solution or way out. Thank you.
Great news, e-Invoicing for Malaysia will be launching this month. Please join our new Community Thread to discuss as the feature rolls out from mid-late May.
May I know the exact launching date for Quickbooks' E-Invoicing system that complies to the Malaysian LHDN? It is getting too close the the July 2025 deadline.
Hello there, asislklim.
I completely understand your concern with the e-invoicing deadline coming up soon. QuickBooks Online (QBO) Malaysia is officially launching the e-invoicing feature starting May 12, 2025, initially impacting about 1,000 customers as part of a beta rollout.
As of today, May 19, 2025, the feature has been set up, and the feature will begin rolling out to all Malaysian customers, both new and existing users.
I suggest setting up your e-invoicing in advance to prepare for when the feature is active in your QBO account.
First, verify whether you are required to set up sales tax; if so, please configure your sales tax settings accordingly. You may also need to obtain a digital certificate in the future to comply with LHDN requirements.
Once done, you can now set up your e-invoicing. Here's how:
For more details about the process, refer to this article: How to set up e-invoicing in QBO - Malaysia.
Additionally, I'll provide this resource to guide you in managing invoice payments in QBO: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.
We are always available if you have any further concerns regarding e-invoices or any QuickBooks-related issues. Please reply to this thread. Have a great day ahead, asislklim.
I navigated to Accounts & Settings, Sales, but could not find "e-invoicing" words there.
Please help by matching your instructions with the QBO system that I am using.
I appreciate your efforts in navigating the process and sharing the screenshot, asislklim. Let's ensure your e-invoicing setup is fully ready ahead of the deadline.
As mentioned by my colleague above, QuickBooks Online Malaysia began rolling out the new e-invoicing feature to all Malaysian customers, both new and existing, on May 19, 2025. This phased rollout aims to reach customers across Malaysia.

I chatted with QBO and was told that there wasn't a definite availability date for the "e-invoicing" feature. This contradicts your statement that "As of today, May 19, 2025, the feature will become widely available to all Malaysian customers, both new and existing." So, may I know who is right since both info came from QBO?
agree...nothing at all..so i think you guys just bluffing?
