Create forecasts
QuickBooks Online Advanced
With QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can now create and manage forecasts with ease. The new forecasting tool helps you make informed decisions and take control of your business growth by predicting outcomes based on past trends and data analysis.
Generate forecasts for up to three years based on historical performance and trends, making it easier to set both long-term and short-term goals. Customise your profit and loss forecasts using data from prior year actuals or an average of past months ranging from three to twelve months.

Adjust figures and percentages as needed to adapt to changing business conditions. Watch the real-time impact of these adjustments without affecting your actual financial records. Once you've crafted your forecast, seamlessly convert it into a new budget to stay on track.

This powerful forecasting tool is perfect for planning ahead, especially as the end of the financial year approaches.

See recurring transactions in Customers view
QuickBooks Online
Seeing any recurring transactions set up for a Customer can now be viewed in the Customers screen. This makes it easier to see all the Customer information in a single screen. Recurring transactions for a customer can also be reviewed in the Transactions area too.

You can still see all recurring transactions in the Recurring transactions menu item in the Settings area for those times you want to review all your recurring transactions.

Import Supplier data using Google Sheet
QuickBooks Online
You can now import your Supplier data using Google Sheet as well as Excel. This update provides greater flexibility and convenience, allowing you to import data information with the spreadsheet software that best suits your needs.
To import your Supplier data, head to Expenses then Suppliers. Next select the drop down menu at the New Supplier label and select Import suppliers.

If required, download the sample file and update it with your supplier data so itβs in the correct format to import. The file will need to be uploaded to your Google drive to import.
Next, select Connect to access the required Google account to locate the file to import. Find your supplier data file and click Select.
Hit Next then check the mapping of your Google Sheet, click Next. The data to be imported will be displayed. You can edit the data at this point if required. Once youβre reviewing the details, click Import.
Employee Self Setup Enhancements
QuickBooks Payroll
We are releasing improvements to the Employee Self Setup (ESS) feature to ensure Tax File Numbers, bank details, and superannuation information are collected in a more compliant, secure and efficient manner.
These updates streamline employee onboarding white strengthening data security and regulatory compliance. For example, you will see:
- New UI elements and a more intuitive experience to guide users when selecting and using ESS over manual setup.
- Employers can now monitor an employeeβs ESS progress directly from the payroll dashboard, ensuring full visibility.
