December 2024 Product Update

QuickBooks platform enhancement

QuickBooks Online

In the coming weeks, you'll see subtle updates to your QuickBooks spend and accounting screens or forms. These changes are future-proofing your experience by enhancing reliability, stability, and performance.

Intuit is dedicated to continuously enhancing the QuickBooks platform to meet your current and future needs. Projects like this pave the way for future functionality to be added to the platform and to be added efficiently.

In this project, we will be focussing on the spend and accounting forms. These include bills, bill payments, expenses, supplier credits, credit card credits, cheques and purchase orders. And the accounting screens include transfers, journals, bank deposits and credit card payments.

Below is an example of the changes to the Expense and Purchase order forms. As you can see the changes are minimal however should you have any queries, please contact our Customer Success team.

Swag is getting a new name

QuickBooks Payroll

The Swag app will be rebranded to Employment Hero Work (EH Work) in January. It’s the same great app but with a new name.

This update is not a migration, and no action is required on your part. You and your team will continue to use the app as usual, with the same features and functionality available.

In-app notifications were delivered from 5 December 2024 to let employees know about the rebrand, and the app will automatically update to the new name on 13 January 2025.
