I am new to QB too, I recall seeing that some banks were bringing up errors whilst trying to connect, for a while this happened with Paypal and I had to upload a file manually. I think if you can get through to a QB human to report it, they will eventually sort out the issue. You could try removing the original connection and starting a new one.
