Solved: GoCardless to charge VAT on their fees. How will QBO deal with this

Hello.

Has there been any update for this as we've just picked up on the fact QB isn't applying VAT correctly on Gocardless integrated transaction fees?

After speaking with GoCardless they have advised all third party integration development teams have been notified of the impending change well in advance with plenty of notice. However in their words "some third parties have been quicker than others at implementing the change\fix"

Quickbooks, lets get this issue sorted please!

Looks like QB have fixed this issue and the VAT is now automatically applied. Would have been nice to receive

notification from QB regarding the fix :)

Couldn't agree more Merlin.

I just started doing the first pass for my VAT return and noticed the GC payments do indeed appear to have the VAT accounted for. So I need to go back and reverse the journals I've been doing and make sure they match what GC put on their invoices.

So, Intuit had months advance notice of this change, provided no workaround, left us completely in the dark and then provided an out-of-the-blue fix with no prior notification.
