Greetings, @lauren-charlotte. Let me help you reauthorise your bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Since it doesn't work while using the app, let's try reauthorising your bank account through a browser. Here's how:
- Sign in with your QuickBooks Self-Employed sign-in page.
- Go to the Settings ⚙ icon and select Connect bank or Bank accounts.
- Click + Connect another account.
- In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type, i.e Lloyds Bank Business, Lloyds Bank Personal, or Lloyds Bank Commercial.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.
Once reconnected, you'll have to review and organise your income and expense transactions.
Alternatively, you'll want to upload your bank transactions manually. You can check this write-up for a guide: Manually import transactions into QuickBooks Self-Employed.
If the issue persists, you can follow the steps provided in this article to learn about troubleshooting steps when using a browser. You'll also want to share the specific bank you're trying to authorise in QuickBooks. I want to make sure I've got you covered.
If you encounter a specific code, you can read through this article for a complete list of possible bank messages and their fixes: Open Banking connection errors.
I'm just a post away if you need a hand with reauthorising your bank account or anything QBSE related. I'll be here to ensure your success. Keep safe!
