Accountant isn't able to see my accounts

Hi 

 

I have chosen the option to add an accountant to my profile so they can access my accounts. I have sent them the link but they have said it won't allow them access. Has anyone else had this issue?

Accountant isn't able to see my accounts

Since they've already received the link but can't access it, we can ask them to do the following steps to help resolve this issue, colette.

 

Firstly, please ask them to sign out of their other QuickBooks companies and then let them click the link again. If the issue persists, this may be due to a web browser problem. In that case, let them access the invitation manually. Here's how:

 

    1. Open the invitation email. 
    2. Copy the web address by right-clicking the Accept Invitation.
    3. Open an incognito or private window. 
    4. Paste the link you've copied earlier in the address bar.

 

Additionally, please know that the link will expire after 30 days. If they're still unable to access it after doing the steps provided above, you can follow these steps to cancel the initial invite. 

 

    1. Sign in to your QBSE account.
    2. Click the Gear icon, then click Accountant.
    3. Locate the accountant you want to remove, then select Remove accountant after their name.
    4. In the Accountant email field, write their email address, then select Send invitation.
    5. Choose Text a code to confirm your identity. It will send a verification code to your mobile number.
    6. Please input the code in the designated Verification code field, then proceed by selecting the Continue option.
