QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) have different apps and logins that may result unable to login to the app and encounter prompt message like this.
Please ensure you download the correct app for your subscription. Please note that the QBSE mobile app has been discontinued for new downloads. If you’re a new QBSE user or using a new phone, you will no longer be able to download the QBSE app.
For existing QBSE user, you may still be able to log in using the original phone you previously used to access the app. However, if you’ve switched to a new phone, you can check your App Store or Play Store download history to see if the QBSE app is available for re-download.
