Change Basic User Details

Hi,

 

I'm not sure if anyone is able to see my previous post, but essentially the issue I've run into is I've somehow accidentally set myself as both the basic user and accountant user for a family member's new QBO subscription.  I'm new to QBOA and she is my first client.  I've set the billing to go to her, but because it's my information set as the primary user, she never received an email to create her login credentials.

 

So, my question is, how can I change her account information so that she is the basic user, and I am the accountant user?  Also, what did I do wrong to cause the issue in the first place and how do I avoid it with my next client?

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello TaraHill, no we are not able to see your previous post, in regards to this post and what you need to do is, its kind of complicated with it being a simple start account as you can only have one user and one accountant on a simple start account that you have with us and you being both the user and the accountant makes it complicated. You might need to contact the support line  on 0808 234 5337 line is open mon to fri 8am to 7pm to do a screenhsare with the agent, if you want to change the email. However you could for quickness and easiness you could just cancel that account you created for them and start again and create a new account with the clients consent and making sure that you set them up as a user this time and yourself as just the firm. But those are you two options.
