I subscribed to quickbooks through the App store but now I want to change the payment to a different debit card. When I go onto the billing info it just tells me to go to the App store. How do I change the payment method?

Hi Nhouten, we need to get some account details to migrate the billing but with this being a public forum it means it will redact personal information. Could you reach out to us on Twitter or Facebook DM/PM with your business name and email address and we can move the billing as long as it is cancelled with the third party.-Emma
Hello Nhouten, If you subscribe through the app it will mean you are paying the billing to either Apple billing or Google play billing so to change the card you would need to go into I-tunes or Google play billing itself and edit the payment card.
Am I able just to cancel and sign up with a new card through quickbooks? Would that lose all my quickbooks information?
Hello Nhouten, you would not lose any data it would just transfer the billing. Can we ask you are you using QuickBooks Self Employed or QuickBooks Online as the process for moving the billing is different for each to move the billing?
Quickbooks self employed
Thanks nhouten, for this we'll need you to cancel your subscription within the app store and then wait for this to expire which will be on your next usual bill date with Apple - please get back to us here once the account has fully cancelled and we can then migrate the billing for you (please note no data will be lost during this process). :)
Perfect, thanks very much!
Hi there,
I can't seem to update my payment information now that it's expired.
Thanks
Thanks for getting back to us, @nhouten.
I'd be glad to provide you the steps in updating your payment method in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Since you've subscribed to QBSE through the Apple app store, you have to update your billing info from there.
Here's how to change your subscription plan on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
If you're using a Mac books computer or other Apple devices, follow the steps in this link instead: How to change your subscription from Apple.

Hi there,
As stated in the above messages I don't want to subscribe through the iTunes store anymore. If I change the billing method through the iTunes store it changes it for all my Apple subscriptions.
I do not want to subscribe to Quickbooks through Apple/iTunes store. I want to migrate the billing to a new debit card but not through the iTunes store.
Thanks,
Niall

Hello, I need help with this too please.
I signed up using my apple account however my apple account is personal and I want to charge these payments to my business account. When I tried to sign up through the website which would give me the option to use my business account, the cost per month was twice as much. I don't understand why as its the same service.
Hope you can help me,
Many thanks
Hello there, PennyJoy.

They can explain in detail why the cost per month doubled up when changing the billing method to the business account. From there, our specialists will guide you on how to apply the permanent fix.

Hello!
I have just started my trial period for the QB self employed app… and I want to avoid having to switch billing later… I’d rather just put my business card on file for payment. Can you help me?
