I have downgraded to a cheaper subscription, as I wasn't using what I was paying for but I have just been charged the full price again. Why is this? How do I sort it?

Hi there, @userinfo140. Now that I'm here. I'll share some insights on how you can view your billing statements in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to determine where the subscription charges are coming.

Before anything else, know that this isn't the kind of experience we'd like you to have in QuickBooks. Let's access your billing statement to find out why QuickBooks charged you full price even if you've already downgraded to a cheaper version of the product. To begin, here's how you can view your account billing statements:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. On the top right corner, click the Gear icon.
  3. Select Account and settings, and then click Bill Pay.
  4. Select Statements.
  5. Click the Statement Number to view an itemized breakdown of your statement.

In addition, I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Online Customer Care Team. This way, they can assist you if you have further concerns about your billing. See this article for more information: QuickBooks Online Support.

You can also check this page in case you want to switch back to your previous subscription: Upgrade or downgrade your QuickBooks Online subscription.

@userinfo140, I'm determined to help you get this sorted out as soon as possible. Don't hesitate to get back to me if you need further assistance with this or if you have any additional QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be here to help you again. Take care.
