I can share insights into why your accountant hasn't received the invitation in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Brett.
There are possible reasons why the recipient hasn't received the email invitations:
- The invitation might be in their junk or spam folder
- The recipient’s mail servers might be blocking the email
Since you've already confirmed the email address, let's ensure the recipient has an Intuit Account to prevent the email invitations from being flagged as spam. If they haven't created yet, please advise them to create an account by following this article: Create a QuickBooks user account.
Also, invitation emails can end up in the spam or junk folder. You can ask the accountant to check there.
Additionally, let's check if their mail servers block emails from Intuit. It prevents Intuit invitations, notifications, and updates, from reaching their inbox. You can ask the accountant to add the following QBO email server hostnames and IP addresses to their email providers' allow list so their invitations won't get recognized as spam.
For more information about QBO server hostnames and IP Addresses, please refer to this article: Add Intuit’s email server hostnames to the allow list.
If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team. They have the tools to identify the causes of why invited users aren't receiving email invitations.
Furthermore, I'll attach this article as your reference in reconciling accounts in QBO: Start a reconciliation.
Feel free to return below for any other questions about adding a new accountant. I'll be around to help.
