I’m trying to connect to my bank account just keeps saying authentication failed I have all the correct passwords

Making sure you're able to connect your bank is my priority, justinmoxey@me.c.

 

First, can you tell us the name of the bank account you're trying to connect? Here are the possible reasons why you're having trouble connecting your bank account:

  • The bank is performing system maintenance. 
  • There are notifications from their website that need your attention.

In the meantime, you can perform the following troubleshooting steps to resolve this connectivity issue:

  1. Login to your bank's website.
  2. Check for any announcements, messages, notifications, or alerts that needs your attention.
  3. Once completed, let's logged in to your QuickBooks Self-Employed account and try connecting your bank account again.
  4. Go to the Gear icon ⚙.
  5. Select Bank accounts.
  6. Hit Connect another account.
  7. In the search box, enter the name of the bank and account type.
  8. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your account.
