Thank you for choosing QuickBooks Online (QBO) to manage your new company, Jonathan. I'll lay down the steps to help you successfully create an account.
The error occurs when you previously signed up for QBO and want to use the same email address for the new account. The system detects that the login credential is already associated with an existing QBO account.
To resolve this, I recommend clicking the Sign In button on the Create an Intuit Account page to proceed. For visual reference, I've added a screenshot below.
Once done, perform the steps below to continue the setup:
