The QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) app keeps a cache to speed up your experience while performing different tasks. This data can become corrupted, causing it to stop working and preventing you from logging into your account.

 

To get this fix, we can clear these older cache files and restore the application to its default settings. Please follow the instructions below, depending on your device.

 

For Android:

 

  1. In your phone Settings, go to Apps.
  2. Find the QBSE app and select Storage.
  3. Select Clear cache or Clear app data.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to Settings on your device, then General.
  2. Click iPhone storage and tap the QBSE app.
  3. Free up its storage without deleting app data by hitting Offload App.
  4. Locate and tap the app from your Home Screen to reactivate and use it again.

 

After completing the steps above, restart your mobile device and ensure you have a reliable internet connection. If the same behavior persists, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app to reset it entirely.
