Since the recent changes to user permissions, is it still possible to set up a user with access to reports only i.e. they can't make any changes to entries? UK version.

Since the recent changes to user permissions, is it still possible to set up a user with access to reports only i.e. they can't make any changes to entries? UK version.

I'm here to help you set up a user with access to reports only in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

Yes, it's possible that  you can set a user in which they can only access report if your subscription is OBO Plus account. This user can see all reports except data that shows payroll and contact info.

 

To add a report only user, here's what you'll need to do:
 

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top. 
  2. Under YOUR COMPANY, select Manage Users.
     
  3. Go to the Users tab and tap Add user.
  4. Click the drop down arrow and pick View Company reports and hit Send invitation. You can also select many options that the users can access data in QBO.

Additionally, you can check Audit log report to see the activities done by your users.
