total data loss

I have been using QB self employed for the last 4 years.

This year I have also subscribed to qb online as I have had to register for VAT.

I have kept up the subscription for self-employed in order to do my self assessment return - just logged in and ALL MAY DATA FOR THE LAST 4 YEARS HAS GONE!!!!

I have not cancelled my subscription or missed payments and I am rather worried why this should be.

There are 3 transactions that have been retained that have been scanned in, thats all that is there!

Is it a server error or something else - anybody else had this?

Hi there, prokraft.

For now, I can't see any open investigations or alerts about missing transactions in QBSE.

It's possible that there's a separate QBSE account which has all the transactions for the last four years. Follow these steps on how to verify:

  1. Log out from QBSE.
  2. Click the Forgot your user ID or password link in the login page.
  3. Enter the email address that's associated or you used when you created the account, then click Continue.

Open your email and open the notification that was sent to you. It contains a list of all accounts associated to the email address. Log in to all of them to check which is the correct one.

Just in case you can only see one account, please contact our Customer Service Support for QBSE. They can ask for your account details and help you locate the missing transactions. Here's how:

  1. Click Assistant in the upper-right hand corner.
  2. Type in "Talk to a human", then press Enter.
  3. Enter the same keyword (Talk to a human) when prompted.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select between Message an agent and Get a callback.

I'll be around if you need anything else.
