why don't i have an options menu?

Hello there, ltgardens-seaford. To successfully access the left side menu, we can check if you have the correct URL when logging into your account. Below are detailed steps to guide you through the process and ensure you can navigate smoothly.

To start, QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) each have distinct URL links for logging into their respective accounts. This can explain why certain menu options are not appearing in your account.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Log in to your QBSE account using the correct URL.
  2. Ensure that you are using the appropriate interface when attempting to log in.

Additionally, for a more in-depth guide on switching your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account through your Intuit Account Manager, you could refer to the detailed steps provided by this article: Switch to QuickBooks Self-Employed if you signed in through QuickBooks Online.

If the interface remains unchanged, try accessing your account through private or incognito tab. This will prevent the storage of cookies and browsing history, ensuring a fresh session.

You can also open a private or incognito tab using the keyboard shortcuts provided below, depending on your browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P

After following these steps, clear your browser's cache to eliminate unnecessary data and enhance performance. To do this, refresh your browser tab, and the changes will take effect. Try logging into your QBSE account using your regular browser. If the issue persists, consider logging in with a different supported browser.

For future references in managing your customer payments and information in your QBSE account, you can refer to these articles below:

It was a pleasure assisting you today. If you encounter any more difficulties while using QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE), please don't hesitate to leave a comment below for additional assistance. Have a nice day ahead!
