Why has my subscription cost just doubled?

Hi there, @sussex.

Thanks for reaching out to the QuickBooks Community about your recent billing update. We really appreciate your business and are here to help.

Here are a few common reasons your pricing might have changed:

  • A discount or promo you were using has ended
  • You’ve added extra features or services, like Payroll or Payments
  • You upgraded to a better plan
  • Annual price adjustments

To check your current plan and see if anything was added, do this:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top right of your QuickBooks screen.
  2. Go to Subscriptions and billing under the PROFILE section.

You can also use the Look up your charge tool to get more details about a specific charge. Just enter your payment info, the amount charged, the date of the charge, and why you’re checking. This tool will show anything that might have changed with your subscription.

If you can’t find the answer or need more help, I suggest contacting QuickBooks Support. They can look at your account and explain the charge in detail.

Let us know if you’ve got more questions. We’re happy to help.
