The username when connecting to TD Bank Account keeps changing to my QuickBooks Online username. I keep updating it back to my bank username, but it won't keep it. What is causing this? I can't download my transactions and am getting really frustrated!

I want to stop this issue from happening to you, Stephanie.
There's a possibility that you mark the Remember me box when you log in to your QuickBooks account. That's why it won't accept your bank's credentials.
Let's work together by clearing saved usernames and passwords on the browser. Doing this will help you enter the correct credentials and download transactions from your bank.
Please follow the steps to delete usernames and passwords for your browser.
Once done, restart your browser for changes to take effect. When you log into QuickBooks, make sure to uncheck the Remember me box.
This prevents the browser from saving login credentials and helps you enter the correct username. You can also use a private window or other supported browsers to isolate the issue.
If the same issue persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Live Support Team. They further investigate why the username of your bank keeps using the QuickBooks credentials.

Thank you! I had cleared my cache, but not for "All Time" in Chrome. I believe the ultimate solution was unchecking the remember me box. It seems to check it by default.
I'm happy that you're now able to solve the banking issue, Stephanie.
QuickBooks will continue to download the latest bank transactions. All you need to do is review, match, and categorise them to your bank register.
I'm adding this link to guide you through the process: Categorise and match online bank transactions. It includes tips and several ways to review your bank entries.
