Barclaycard Personal accounts

Barclaycard personal have changed the login procedure and this has stopped quickbooks from connecting to the accounts. I guess the script needs to be updated.

The QBSE subscription will ask for the two main credentials when logging in to your bank, chrisgooner4ever.

 

When you connect an account for online banking, you'll be asked to enter your username and password. Since your bank changed the login procedure, they probably added another information for your login, like tokens or security questions. If this is the case, then you won't have an option to enter them in QBSE. This is because the Self-Employed subscription doesn't currently support additional security information from different banks.

 

Here's how to check if your bank requires Multi-Factor Authentication:

  1. Click the Gear icon in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Go to the Bank Accounts page.
  3. Click the Refresh All button at least three times until you see an error or you're prompted to enter the additional info.

You can contact your bank and request to have the added information removed.
