Ehy does the save button not work on the connect bank account screen

I have tried 6 times on wifi and 4g and refreshed the app and the save button does nothing

Ehy does the save button not work on the connect bank account screen

Hi, @Jm-kfitter. I appreciate you for performing troubleshooting steps on your end before posting here. I also understand how this can trigger us if not fixed right away since we have a lot of things to do.

 

There are several reasons why the Save button won't work when you connect your bank via the mobile app. 

 

Before anything else, I'd like to know the name of your financial institution and if the Save button is greyed out or clickable but can't connect so we can identify if the origin of the error is within the system or from your bank. 

 

For now, you can log in to your account via a web browser and connect it there. If the issue persists, don't sign out of your account since you can upload your transactions manually in the meantime to continue your daily banking operations. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Transaction tab. Then, Bank transactions.
  2. Click the dropdown icon beside the New Transaction option and pick Upload bank statement.

  3. Choose an account and make sure your file format is one of these: PDF, JPG, PNG, HEIC, CSV, QFX, QBO, OFX, or TXT. Then, Upload from this device or drag it there.

  4. Follow on-screen instructions.

 

It's also worth noting that you can check your online bank and see if there is possible maintenance between QuickBooks and your financial institution which causes the error. Since you're done refreshing the app, let's uninstall and reinstall it. There might be some updates in the application.
