Welcome to the Community, ccmctccmotorcycle! I’m thrilled to see you join us and make your first post! Connecting your bank to QuickBooks Online (QBO) would save you time managing your transactions. I'll guide you on troubleshooting pop-up blockers so you can complete this task effortlessly.
To resolve the pop-up blocker issues in QBO, the steps will vary depending on the browser you’re using. If you’re on Google Chrome, here’s a quick and easy guide to help you check for and manage those pop-ups:
- Open Chrome, select More ⋮ and select Settings.

- Under Privacy and security, choose Site settings.

- Click Pop-ups and redirects.

- Pick the option to allow or disallow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects.
- (Optional) If you prefer to keep pop-ups blocked, add an exception for QuickBooks instead:
- Choose Add next to Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects.
- Enter qbo.intuit.com.
- Hit Add.

If your QuickBooks pop-ups are still blocked, you can use the Windows hotkey by holding down the CTRL key before clicking the button or link that brings up the pop-up window.
If you're utilizing other browsers like Firefox and Safari, please see this article for a comprehensive guide: Why doesn't anything happen when I select a button or link?
Right after, go ahead and link your bank account to QuickBooks. For a step-by-step guide, check out this article: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks.
Once you're connected, your most recent banking data will be automatically downloaded. All you have to do is categorise and match them with your existing entries to ensure your account remains accurate and updated.
