Fix the santander sync issue

Let's get this resolved, Zen.

Before anything else, did you receive any specific errors or prompts?

You can try signing in to Santander’s website to check if everything is working on their end. Look for any announcements and any display issues as you navigate the website. These can block QuickBooks from downloading new transactions. If you are receiving a bank error you can follow the steps in this article.

Then, update your bank manually to refresh the connection between QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. Select the Banking or Transactions menu.
  2. Choose Banking.
  3. Go to your Santander account.
  4. Click Update. Perform this process 3-5 times.

If you want to categorize your transactions now, you can also upload them to the program by hand. Please note that the bank feed will download these transactions once the connection resumes to its normal order.

No worries. You can use the Exclude feature to remove duplicate entries. This prevents them from showing up in your registers and reports.

I’ve added this link for your complete reconciliation reference: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks. It includes troubleshooting instructions to ensure the figures match your bank statement.

Keep me posted if you have any other questions or concerns about banking. I'll make sure to get back to you as soon as I can. Always take care!
