Welcome to the Community, Ironbondbrickwork. If the additional bank account is already listed in the Chart of Accounts, you can connect it directly by selecting the Connect Bank option.
To do this, click on the Gear icon, then select Chart of Accounts under the Your Company section. Then, locate the bank you wish to connect and click on Connect Bank in the drop-down menu of the Action column.
However, If the bank is not yet in the Chart of Accounts, you can link it directly from the Bank Transactions page.
Here's how:
- Go to Allapps and select the Accounting menu.
- Choose Bank Transactions.
- Click on the Link Account tab.
- Enter your bank's name in the Search bar.
Then, follow the prompts or necessary steps to finalize the connection.
Once connected, QuickBooks will automatically download your transactions.
