I appreciate you for sharing your concern here in the Community, @niall2. I'm here to help you reconnect your bank account to QuickBooks Online (QBO).
First, I'd like to ask the name of your bank so I can give you further details and look for any open investigation on our end. Also, have you received a specific error message when trying to link your account? Any additional details are much appreciated.
On the other hand, let's ensure that your bank is supported under Open Banking regulations so you can connect to the system. You can open this link as your reference: Understanding if you can connect your bank feeds to Open Banking. If it is, let's try connecting your bank again by utilizing your bank's URL. This is to test if your bank has multiple names on our list, which is the reason you're unable to reconnect them.
Here's how:
In case you're getting the same result, I recommend connecting with our Support Team. They'll be able to look further into this matter and verify the reason why you're unable to reconnect your account.
Once your bank is connected and transactions are downloaded to QuickBooks, you're now ready to review and categorize them. You can also reconcile your account to keep your books and balances in place.
If you have any other questions while relinking your account, let me know by adding a comment below. I'm always here to help. Keep safe!
I have been with QuickBooks for more than three years, I know the process and something is preventing me from connecting again.
The QuickBooks support was useless, he clearly did not know how to fix the problem.
As a result I have completely lost interest.
I cannot afford to spend any more time.
I am now paying QuickBooks a ridiculous monthly subscription and I get absolutely NO backup.
A waste of time and money.
I am completely unsatisfied with the service
Hi,
I am having the same problem.
When I click on the banking tab all I get is the circle whirling away and never stops.
Tried help and get Ops something went wrong we are working on it.
Do Quickbooks not provide any support at all?
Rgds
Les
I hear your sentiments, @niall2, @LB-Creed
Rest assured I'm here to help and make sure you can seamlessly access your Banking page.
Let's rule out a possible browser cache issue. The browser uses cache and cookies to help load web pages faster the next time you visit a site. When this gets full, it causes issues that hinder the performance of your account.
To verify this, I recommend accessing your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a private or incognito window. This is a great way of identifying browser issues as this doesn't save any data files. To open a private window, you can refer to these keyboard shortcuts.
If you’re able to access your banking page, I’d suggest clearing your regular browser's cache to refresh it. If the issue persists, I recommend using other supported browsers. This way, we can check if this is a browser-specific issue.
Once done, you might want to check out this article that help you seamlessly match your transactions in QBO: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to get back to me if you need more help managing your bank transaction and QBO. I'm always here ready to lend a helping hand. Keep safe and have a good one!
Hi Les, I've always found it a problem when it's time to reconnect my bank account, I gave up on my mobile as doing it on my laptop always seemed to work eventually but not this time.
QuickBooks support does seem very limited, even the times they operate are limited, makes me wonder why we are paying so much for a limited service, frustrating is an understatement.

Was anyone able to sort our this problem? I use Chase App and cannot sync.
Hello Laurlsenior, thanks for posting on this thread, like emmam6 has said currently Chase bank is not available on open banking in the UK version of QuickBooks. We have passed this onto the banking team and it maybe a bank that comes onto open banking in the future. For now it would be a case of uploading a CSV of downloaded bank transactions into QuickBooks for that bank, we know that is not ideal but it is a workaround for you, so you can continue doing your books. Here is a list of banks that are available to connect to but currently Chase is not one of them.
Hello, Chase uk bank feeds still aren't available as they need a username and password which aren't being given as the accounts are app only.
Also they don't provide statements or downloads in csv format
