I'm here to ensure you're able to link to your bank account in QuickBooks, @userlaura_old99.
Before we start, did you encounter an error while connecting to your bank account? Also, what bank account it is? This way, I can provide the best resolution about it.
The most possible reasons you’re having trouble with connecting an account is due to system maintenance, or its not a participating bank. You can contact your bank for a request so they can establish a relationship with Intuit. Then login into your bank's website to review if there are alerts that need your attention.
The online platform also uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects the system functionalities. Make sure to clear your regular browser's cache to start fresh.
After these, try to connect your bank again. Let me break down the steps for you:
Select the profile icon and then select Bank accounts.
In the search box, enter the name or URL of your bank, then select Continue. If you've already connected an account before, Press Connect another.
Enter the sign-in info you use for your bank's website.
Click Connect securely.
Once done, and your transactions are successfully downloaded, you can now approve the way the program organises the transactions. You can then approved and categorise entries in the system.
Keep me posted if you have any banking concerns o anything else. I'm determined to help you out. Wishing you all the best!
This error can appear when the bank's mobile app is installed on the same device - if you have this installed, please temporarily uninstall and return to the QuickBooks app to complete the connection, you can then re-install after this. Alternately, please try connecting directly via a web browser on a computer/laptop device if you have this available. :woman_technologist:
