I can't match received money with invoice

Hey! In my banking tab when I receive money from a customer I can't match it with an invoice, I don't even have  this option, I only can match it with bills but it doesn't make any sense!

I suppose to match received money with invoices I have issued invoices.

 Please see screenshot attached.

In my other quickbooks account i do not have such problems, and idk how to solve it here.

Please help!

Hey Elizaveta_Bortnikova,

Thanks for reaching out to us here!

Is the account that the money was received to a bank account or a credit card account?

Hey Georgia, it's a bank account.

For credit card account and for our connected paypal we don't have such issues, it's working as it supposed to.

Hey Elizaveta_Bortnikova,

Can you check the type and detail type of the account by going to Accounting > Chart of accounts

Thanks

Hmm for some reason it shown as a credit card when it fact it's a bank account. Is that a reason why it's working so weird? How can we fix that?

Re: I can't match received money with invoice

Hello Elizaveta_Bortnikova,

If the payment being recorded is being received from a different account to where you are matching transaction this won't appear, you should be able to alter the account the payment is going to on the transaction which in turn will then allow to match.

Please let us know if this helps, if you are still struggling with the matching please provide a screenshot so we can look to help further with the transaction in question. :)
