In the meantime, you can connect as many bank accounts or credit cards as you need. When you connect your online bank account to QuickBooks, transactions are automatically downloaded. This helps you keep your bank feeds up to date. All you have to do is review and categorize them.
Here's how:
- Go to Transactions.
- Next to Add transactions, select the drop-down arrow.
- Click Add bank account.
- Search for your bank by URL or name, or choose a bank from the list that you're trying to connect to. Note: You can copy the URL to your bank and paste it in QBO.
- Choose Continue.

- Sign in with your online banking credentials and follow any required security steps.
- Select the accounts you want to connect (current, savings, or credit card) and the dates to pull transactions from the drop-down. Then, hit Next.
Note: Some banks let you download the last 90 days of transactions. Others can go back as far as 24 months, but you can add older transactions manually if needed.
