I have received an error code 381 Reconfirm Consent on every client bank feed that I access today yet when I click on "Fix now" link, nothing happens?

You need to reconfirm your connection between your bank and QuickBooks to fix the error code 381, usersam. Let me help you with this process.

 

The error code 381 occurs when your bank account, linked via Open Banking to QuickBooks Online, needs its connection updated. Open Banking standard requires you to reconfirm your consent every 90 days to maintain connection.

 

To fix this, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Online account. 
  2. Go to the Transactions, then Bank Transactions
  3. Click the Link Accounts dropdown.
  4. Select Manage connections
  5. Find the bank you need to reconfirm, then select the More ⋮ icon.
  6. Choose Manage consent, then Reconfirm
  7. Once done, click OK to confirm.
