Thanks for getting back to us samantha-seddon-, if you have your banks mobile banking app installed on your phone, please temporarily uninstall this and then add the connection on the QuickBooks app (you can then reinstall once the connection is complete). Alternately, please try adding the connection via the web on a laptop or desktop device if you have this available.  :woman_technologist:

Hello Samantha-Seddon, thanks for reaching out to us on the community page, we is happening when you try and connect your RSB account? are you getting any error messages or anything showing up? Are you trying to connect it on the Quickbooks app or the web browser version?

Is anyone else having any issues connecting their RBS account?

Hey Ashley, so in on the app. I click on to add the bank, it takes me to my RBS app, I choose the account I want to link and approve access, it then says I have approved it, then the page refreshes and takes me to partnerauth.platform.intuit.com and it says Authentication Failed.

 

Do you have any idea what I could do differently to link up this account?

Is anyone else having any issues connecting their RBS account?

I have the same issue, I am using a desktop.  This happens everytime it expires and I just dont have the time to spend reconnecting as its a days job waiting for it to work.

What is the problem here?

Is anyone else having any issues connecting their RBS account?

Hello Community Users, We just thought we'd pop in with an update about the 90 day re-auth process for open banking. Recently there has been a change which means RBS open banking connections have been moved to the global consent platform. This is a simpler process and after the first connection you will not need to reauthorise the connection every 90 days only confirm your consent and Quickbooks will take care of the rest. We have included a help article on that here. This means that you should not have the any reconnection issues moving moved linked to consent. Any questions feel free to add them to this thread
