However, if there's no ongoing bank server maintenance on your bank's end, you can reconnect your bank.
Here's how:
- Navigate to Transactions and choose Bank transactions.
- Click on Connect account.
- If you've previously connected an account and want to add a new one, select Link account from the New transaction dropdown.
- Choose your bank and then click Let’s go.
- Review the terms and conditions, then click Agree.
- Click on Sign in and enter your online banking credentials. Follow the prompts to connect your bank. Note that your bank may perform additional security checks, and it could take a few minutes to establish the connection.
- Select the account you wish to connect with QuickBooks (such as savings, current, or credit card).
- Choose the date from which you want to start importing transactions into QuickBooks.
- Note: Depending on the bank, you may be able to download transactions from the last 90 days up to 24 months.
- Click Connect, then select Done.
If transactions are not syncing from your bank to your QuickBooks, we can proceed to refresh your bank connection.

- Navigate to Transactions.
- Click on Bank transactions.
- Choose Refresh.
- After refreshing, check the For Review tab to see if the missing transaction is visible.
