I have just installed QB Self-employed. I wanted it to run alongside my 'Invoice2go' invoicing app where I have over 5 years of historic invoices and client contact data.
Is it impossible to bring this data into QB Self-employed.
Am I wasting my time and money with QB Self-employed?
Should I be on a more expensive QB product in order to synchronise this data?

Hi AndrewWL, it's not possible to connect third-party apps to QBSE, these are only available through QB Online (including Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus) - you can check our app store to view the full range of available apps to see if any of these would be suitable for you (please note, as the apps are third-party, they may incur additional subscription charges). Additionally, the invoicing feature in QBSE is non-posting, meaning it is only used to send invoices to customers and does not feed into any of the reports. Only transactions (downloaded from the bank or entered manually) on the transactions screen categorised as 'business income' will show on the Tax Summary/reports. Therefore, if you don't need to view all of your invoices and transactions in one place, you could use QBSE and Invoice2go alongside each other. :)
QBSE is a stand alone product. You have to use QB Online to integrate with 3rd party apps. Keep in mind, many 3rd party apps only works with QBO Essentials and Plus.
