My bank says it's updating but it doesn't

Welcome to the Community, @georgehara51.

 

I have just the steps you'll need to get these bank transactions updated in QuickBooks. 

 

To begin, try refreshing the connection while accessing QuickBooks in a private browsing window. Depending on your browser, here's how to access the incognito mode:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.

 

Then navigate back to QBO and sign in. Head to the Banking tab and click Update. This will force QuickBooks to initiate a fresh connection with the existing banking portal that you're using.
