When you upgrade from QuickBooks Sole Trader to Simple Start, transactions imported into your Sole Trader account won’t appear on the Bank transactions page in Simple Start, JC.
Since these transactions were already categorized in your Sole Trader account, they’ll remain in your books as deposits or expenses. You can view and edit them in centres like Expenses, Sales Transactions, or Invoices.
The good news is, you won’t need to reconnect any bank accounts that were previously linked in Sole Trader. Once upgraded, new bank transactions will automatically start importing into the Bank transactions page.
It’s also possible for duplicate transactions to appear in the For Review tab on the banking page after the upgrade. To resolve this, exclude them to keep your records accurate.
