To begin with, we have two options. If you have a duplicate expense category, we can make it inactive. If you've mistakenly named an expense category, we can edit it.
If you want to edit an expense account, please follow the steps I've provided below:
- On the Gear icon, locate the Chart of Accounts.
- Scroll down and look for the specific expense category you want to edit.
- Once located, click the arrow drop-down.
- From there, you can either edit the item or make it inactive.

Additionally, you can use account numbers in your chart of accounts to better track each transaction that falls within each category.
