4. Next, click on the Content tab, choose Activity table, uncheck the Description box, and click Done.

1. Go to the Gear icon, then under Lists, select Custom Fields.
2. Add a custom field by typing in the name and selecting Text or Number from the data type dropdown.
3. Click on Transaction, then tick the Estimate box, but make sure not to turn on the Print on the form option.

Ok, nearly what im after. However i use the description box quite a but. Ideally im after a memo box thats hidden to the customers. Just so i can transfer all my products etc to the box. I resell a lot of products and it would be handy to say where there coming from. Im wondering if a product code may be more sensible but thought id ask as id be happy to upgrade so long as i have a hidden (staff only) box
You can add a private note in the Memo on the statement field that will not be visible to your customer, @philsfieldmainte.
