Hello @Pickle ,
I understand your frustrations with both (1) the expensive third-party apps and (2) QuickBooks' lack of the sales-order function. From what I gather you still love QBO, so here's my recommendation:
You don't need to move away from QBO.
Hello @JBCurtis ,
I understand your frustration. I faced the same challenges. And I agree that QBO should enable SALES ORDERS. But we don't know have a definitive timeline from them. In the meantime, here's my recommendation:
You don't need to migrate away from QBO.
Hello!
If you’re moving from QuickBooks Desktop to Online and rely heavily on Sales Orders for automatically creating Purchase Orders and Invoices, QuickBooks Online doesn’t natively support this functionality. However, Cleverence Warehouse 15 could be a practical solution for this transition.
Warehouse 15 works as middleware for QuickBooks, enabling you to handle orders directly through a mobile app. With this tool, you can manage incoming and outgoing inventory, print barcode labels, and update QuickBooks in real-time as you receive, transfer, or ship items. It’s especially helpful if you need to track inventory on mobile devices, as it integrates barcode and RFID scanning.
This could allow you to retain a similar workflow to your Desktop setup with added flexibility for mobile operations. Warehouse 15 is free if you have fewer than three items per QuickBooks document.
Check out Cleverence Warehouse 15 for more information.
