I understand your frustrations with both (1) the expensive third-party apps and (2) QuickBooks' lack of the sales-order function. From what I gather you still love QBO, so here's my recommendation:
You don't need to move away from QBO.
Firstly, simply integrate your QBO with the Logistify AI Assistant and it will automate sales order collection and sync with your QBO inventory to avoid over-selling.
Secondly, the pricing of Logistify AI is very friendly for small businesses. It's volume-based i.e. based on the volume of sales orders processed. For example, $1 for each 100 sales-orders processed. That's a great deal.
Thirdly, the Logistify AI Assistant is designed with simplicity at the core. It's simplicity is akin to using ChatGPT.
I understand your frustration. I faced the same challenges. And I agree that QBO should enable SALES ORDERS. But we don't know have a definitive timeline from them. In the meantime, here's my recommendation:
You don't need to migrate away from QBO.
Simply integrate your QBO with the Logistify AI Assistant so that it automates entry of sales orders and then syncs with QuickBooks Inventory to avoid over-selling.
Then generate POs to your suppliers and sync with QuickBooks POs
Then generate Sales Invoices to your customers and sync with QuickBooks Invoices.
