Search box under customers needs capitalisation, any way of bypassing this so that case doesn't matter when searching

Hello Mbrayne,

Welcome to the Community page,

So you should be able to search for a customer in the customer section search bar without having to put a capital letter in all the time.

You could try some troubleshooting to see if that stops it and allows you to just search for a customer, you could try clearing your cache and cookies, close the browser down, reload it and log back into your account and try again.

Thanks for that suggestion, but doesn't make a difference. The behaviour in the search box is somewhat random. I always type in a customer's name without first capital (as one would in a browser), and the necessary record either comes up ok, but very often does so only briefly, then disappears as a whole stack of other client records appear. If I type it in with the first capital, it works always. I don't think it has anything to do with cache.

Hello Mbrayne, To look into this further could you provide a screenshot showing the search function not loading the customer? Can we ask if you search via the magnifying glass in the top right of QuickBooks does it do the same thing as well or only in the customer search? Thanks
