Hello Rosstimberland,
Welcome to the Community page,
Please can you search for your customer by their name instead of email address going forward.
Thank you for your reply, however if I could just serch by customer name, then I wouldn't have asked the question.
My business is postal address dependent, as I visit customer's home. I really need to search customers by postal address.
I don't understand why you have simplified the search feature to name only.
Why not have a option to choose which customer field your users wish to search within, ie being able to choose name, email, phone, mobile, address line 1, address line 2, town, county, post code, etc. with one to all being selectable.
I appreciate you for getting back, @rosstimberland.
I can see the importance of looking for your customers by postal address or any of the fields available from the Customer information window such as email, phone, mobile, address line 1, address line 2, town, county, postcode, and others. However, the system currently defaults to search customers by their names.

My point is, this has only happened since the last update, why change/restrict the way the search operates?
