Thanks for taking the time to reach out to the Community for support, @susan-hey.

I'll assist you in accounting customer payments in QuickBooks Online.

For customers who want to pay via electronic payment link, you can utilize PayPalGo Cardless, and Zettle by PayPal. These providers integrate with QuickBooks, allowing customers to pay through online invoicing, recurring bills, or point-of-sale purchases.

All invoice payments and associated transaction fees are automatically recorded in QuickBooks when accepting payments with PayPal

To know more about how it works, you can refer to this link: Accept Card Payments with PayPal. Otherwise, you can reach out to their support team to guide you through the integration process. You can find their contact details in the Support section on the link provided.

Furthermore, check out this article for more information on how to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

I'll keep an eye out for any additional questions regarding processing payments in QBO, feel free to ping me in the comment section. Keep safe always.

@susan-hey

If you run a service company, you can have a proposal management app to integrate with QBO and accept payments by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club (International), Discover (Domestic) and Direct Debit (BACS).
