Hello Neil, the Self -Employed product enables you to account for your allowable and disallowable expenses, this is a partial template and accounts boxes 17 - 46, of the self assessment form. Capital allowances are accounted for in the actual self assessment form boxes 49 - 59. SO you can enter them manually on the Self Assessment form at Hmrc when it comes to filing the Self Assessment.

I'm trying out quick books and come across this issue too if I can't separate my capital expenditure from the rest of my allowable expenses quick books is effectively defunct as far as I'm concerned
