Is anybody else getting this issue:
Normally, whilst in Payroll, on any of the pages when you click 'Close' at bottom of page, you end up back at the Payroll Dashboard, still in the Payroll app. Fine.
But now....
When you click 'Close', say after editing and saving an employee record, you end up right back at your Quickbooks Dashboard, totally out of the Payroll app.
So you have to click Payroll again each time it happens to get back into the app. Wait a while while it loads and then continue your work.
Irritating, if you are editing numerous pages.
What's been changed? Or am I the only one?

We have had no other reports of this happening, could you please clear your cache and cookies to all time, close the browser down, reload it and log back int your account and let us know if the same thing still happens for you, this link here will help you.
Cleared cache as instructed. No change. Still doing it.
Thanks for trying that, can we ask which browser it is you are using and if you could please try in another browser does the same thing happen and also try on a different device. Let us know how you get on.
I'm using Google as I always have done. I've now tried using incognito which did not result in it behaving properly. I can not access any other device as I use just one laptop for all my bookkeeping jobs. I'm not going to download another browser.
I'm working for a different client tomorrow so I will see if it is the same with their payroll.
I have to say, the whole program seems to be less stable now than ever before (6 years using). Clicking a page link from the Dashboard menu, to go into Expenses or the Banking for example, sometimes does not work. Frequently I have to log out and then log in again for things, especially bank data, to change. This issue with the Payroll 'Close' button is just another example. I'm sure it will be only temporary, but it does test patience.
