Auto payroll had stopped automatically filing FPS even though settings are correct/unchanged

Hello, auto payroll including automatic FPS filing has been working correctly for months. I've just noticed that the December and January payrolls, although they ran fine, did not automatic submit the FPS. The auto payroll/automatic FPS settings are still correct. Has anyone had the same issue and know how to fix it? Thanks.

Auto payroll had stopped automatically filing FPS even though settings are correct/unchanged

Hello there, @missbrayble.

Thank you for raising your concern about the FPS not being submitted, even though your payroll ran smoothly. Let’s work together to troubleshoot and resolve this issue quickly.

First, let’s temporarily disable the auto-filing feature, then re-enable it. This refreshes the functionality. Next, sign out of your QuickBooks Online account and sign back in to further reset the system.

Also, you can turn off the Auto-Payrun feature, as it may be interfering. If the FPS will be filed after turning off the Auto-Payrun, you can re-enable it.

If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Live Support team. They have the tools and resources to examine this issue in greater detail and provide you with a tailored solution.
