Can you print a payroll summary report showing the current months payroll figures and year to date figures

Hello there, Amanda.

The option to directly print a report that combines the current month's payroll with year-to-date figures is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online Payroll. As a workaround, you can run the summary report twice and then export and consolidate the data to generate the desired report. Let me provide you the steps to show you how:

  1. Go to Report, then click Standard Report.
  2. Under Payroll, look for Payroll Summary.
  3. Filter the date to have the year-to-date figures.
  4. Click Export, then choose Export to Excel.

Now that you have the Payroll Summary report for the year-to-date, the next step is to obtain the Current Month's Payroll. To do this, please repeat the first three steps and adjust the date filter to This Month. After exporting both Payroll summaries, you'll need to merge these reports to create the comprehensive report you need. Once done, you can now print the report.

Additionally, I included an article if you want to send an email your memorised reports on a recurring schedule in QuickBooks Online: Set schedule and email information for a memorised report in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any further questions or concerns about the summary report, Amanda, please don't hesitate to click the Reply button below. Our Community is here and always ready to provide prompt assistance and resolution.
