How di I file a backdated VAT100 return?

The open return will not allow period date changes. HMRC requesting I submit a missed return from a quarter last year, but how? Looks like MTD will not allow backdated returns to be calculated or submitted.

Hi communityoil, thanks for your post - have you filed a return through QuickBooks to HMRC that is dated after the start date of the period that you're trying to submit?

No, I missed filing a normal VAT100 return in one of last year's quarters and now HMRC are asking for that submission for that period.
